Module 4

Enhancing Individual and Organizational Self-Care

Objectives and Goals of Module 2

Goal: Participants will build/maintain a healthy relationship with themselves, engage in behaviors that promote their holistic wellness, and advocate for organizational changes that will facilitate a caring, professional culture. 

Upon completion of the session, participants will be able to:

  1. Define self-care, delineate the multiple dimensions of self-care, and generate behaviors that fulfill these facets of holistic self-care. 

  1. Recognize the need to developing a self-care plan and understand the role self-care plays in mitigating compassion fatigue. 

  1. Create realistic, purposeful, and authentic self-care plans, and propose effective solutions to individual barriers.
